Planning your next web application
Vipin Gautam
A practical starting point for turning a business idea into a clear development brief.
Start with the people using it
Before choosing a technology stack, define the people the application serves and the task it should make easier. A customer placing an order and an administrator reviewing records need different workflows.
Define the first useful version
List the essential journeys: signing in, completing a core task, making a payment if needed, and managing the result. Separate launch requirements from ideas that can follow once users provide feedback.
Think beyond the interface
A production application also needs secure access, a database, integrations, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Planning those early helps avoid surprises near launch.
Bring a clear brief
When you reach out, share your audience, core features, timeline, and any existing tools the application should connect to. Let's discuss your project.
